It is our pleasure to invite all researchers/postgraduate students to submit their research paper abstract for the 8th Annual conference of Pediatric & Adolescent Nutrition Society (IAP Nutrition chapter) PEDNUTRICON 2024 to be organized on 14th -15th September 2024 at HOTEL MAURYA, PATNA.

GUIDELINES FOR ORAL PAPER AND POSTERS PRESENTATIONS:

• All Authors of Oral Papers and Posters should be registered.
• The presenting author name should be underlined, with details of designation, department, and institute.
• Participants must clearly specify the presentation type, oral paper or poster
• Soft copies of abstract should also be e-mailed to tiwarianilkumar383@gmail.com / secretarypansociety19@gmail.com by 10th August 2024
• The contact details with phone number and Email address should be submitted along with the abstract.
• The main source of funding / Ethics Committee Clearance of the study/ clinical trial should be indicated at the end of the abstract wherever applicable.
• The abstract must not have been published at any conference / journal before.

Kindly note the scientific committee reserves the right to defer the selection of the Oral paper or Poster. Oral Papers /Posters not compiling the criteria mentioned may not be considered for scrutiny.

• Out of all papers submitted for oral presentations, best four papers each under two categories – Postgraduates/ Young researchers AND Nutritionist/Staff Nurses will be selected for oral presentation. For the oral paper, not selected for the presentation, the presenter will be given the option of converting the oral paper into a poster presentation. This will be communicated by the committee to the presenter. If this is not agreed by the prsenter, the paper may be withdrawn
• For poster, single case will not be accepted. Case series of minimum 3 cases will be accepted as poster.
• FORMAT OF ABSTRACT should be as follows:
• Types of presentation: Oral Paper or Poster
• Title of the paper in All Capital Case
• Authors, designation, Place of work, e mail id, contact number.
• Abstract should have maximum word count of 300, which includes the following headings:
1. Introduction (background and rationale of the study)
2. Aims/ Objectives
3. Methods (Design/ data collection/ analysis)
4. Results
5. Conclusion

ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES FOR accepted ORAL PAPERS

Soft copy of full write up of the selected oral papers (maximum word limit 3000, MS WORD FORMAT in Times New Roman, Font Size 12, double line spacing). Title, Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, 25 pertinent References and acknowledgment along with department involved should be submitted by email for evaluation by reviewers. It should not disclose the names of the authors or contact information. TWO BEST ORAL PAPERS AND TWO BEST POSTERS WILL BE AWARDED
